The Workshop
Nestled beside our 200-year-old home in the heart of Hallowell, Maine, my small woodworking shop is more than just a workspace—it's a sanctuary. Designed by my wife and built in 2001, the shop replaced a humble one-car garage, transforming into a place where creativity and craftsmanship come to life. Despite being a relatively modern addition, visitors are often surprised to learn it wasn’t part of the original homestead, as its warm, inviting character feels like it’s always belonged here.
Surrounded by the quiet beauty of our historic property, the shop offers a peaceful retreat where every project begins with inspiration drawn from the natural world. The solitude of this space allows me to focus, refine my craft, and bring new ideas to life. Each piece of wood I work with carries a story, and my shop is where those stories unfold, one careful cut at a time.
